Mini trucks are legal on all public roads in the state of Hawai'i with no restrictions. Sales to Hawai'i work the same as a custom order. The Honda Acty is typically preferred as they are the most readily available for bulk orders. Additionally, Honda still makes new OEM parts for the Acty, which helps to further reduce maintenance costs of a vehicle already known for reliability. The Acty also comes equipped with a cab-controlled cargo light which can easily be replaced with a rooftop amber beacon.
